Is Camtasia obsolete?
Let's think about this...

Camtasia is great but…
Have you noticed that other apps are overtaking Camtasia in terms of things like AI integration & features, really nice templates, workflow automation, etc.?
I still use Camtasia as my bread ‘n’ butter screen capture and video editor because I know it so well but other apps and options have caught my interest like Canva and CapCut. I’m learning these now.
And when learning new software, the NUMBER 1 thing I look for (even before tutorials on YouTube) is TEMPLATES.

Well crafted and nicely designed templates are an instant “roadmap” to seeing and learning the stuff that makes up a final quality video project and let’s face it…
If you lose interest staring at a blank timeline or get a headache slogging through mind-numbing tutorial after tutorial without without ending up with a kick butt video (and FAST), it might take you YEARS to learn to create good videos with a program.
Instead…
Drag, drop, replace media in a template, change some text, and export a seriously beautiful piece of video content without all that other junk?
Well, that’s just not only incredibly self-satisfying but so much more efficient as well.
I highly recommend these templates for CapCut from our longtime favorite partners VidInstant. I’ve used and reviewed their Xinemax products for years now and they don’t disappoint.
You’ll get:

Have a great week!
